Simon Norfolk has submitted this gorgeous landscape photograph to the 'Landmark: The Fields of Photography' exhibition that is currently on show at Somerset House until the end of the month. Click on the link to read more about the exhibition:

From 9,075 pictures entered by 875 photographers, magazines, agencies, publishers and schools, the jury selected, by a majority vote or better, only 300 images to appear in the book and represent the best pictures from 2012. In other words the "Creme de la creme!"

and I didnt even mention it on our blog. I feel ashamed!

Simon won Gold in the Non-Commissioned Project category for Burke + Norfolk in which he juxtaposes his own images from the present day with John Burke's shots of Afghans and British soldiers from the nineteenth century emphasising the fact that, when it comes to Western involvement in the country, we've been here before. We were thrilled to see an image of Tim's on the cover of Creative Review Photo Annual last night. This is further to the cover of the Luerzers Archive Best 200 Advertising Phtoographers he was selected for earlier in the year. Congrats Tim!
